I had the chicken fajita nachos ($13.99). They were huge, I couldn’t eat them all! I have to say I’ve had much better, but honestly didn’t come expecting amazing nachos. I actually wasn’t all that hungry, and suspect that had some to do with my food-taste experience.
The nachos had probably 12+ big chips, covered with cheese and chicken. The chicken was cubed fajita meat and reminded me of the type of chicken you’d get from a package in the “fresh meat and seafood” area of a super market. I was disappointed in how dry it was, but still ate it, so there’s that. I like the entire chip to contain cheese and it did not. There was some beans smeared on, a huge glob of sour cream and a measured scoop of guacamole. There were no jalapeños, so I guess you have to ask for those? Sprinkled tomatoes as well, but they didn’t taste like anything.
The margarita, saving the best for last, was amazing. I’ll come back and have another! Asked for a mango margarita, like in some of the other pictures… but the server had never had it so couldn’t recommend. She actually said the strawberry was good, but I chose mango. It’s just the house with a $2 mango purée topper lol. I felt like the $2 was unnecessary, but they gotta make money. I would definitely order it again!
